Because every good movie quote belongs on a wall, amIright? The first series was part of a passion project to showcase my progress as I taught myself copperplate calligraphy. I vectorized my calligraphy then combined it with actual fonts, and finally, created the vector graphics at the bottom of each poster, representing the person or movie the quote comes from. The second series was commissioned by a super cool (obviously) marriage and family therapist for his office. Same idea, except no hand lettering on that series. The final posters are from a proposal for a theme for UVU's annual conference on suicide prevention. They didn't run with this one, but it was my favorite. I envisioned an entire conference based around words that are equally applicable to both an individual struggling with suicidal thoughts as well as the people in that person's life who could help prevent their suicide.
